Please join us for this FREE training on Aging, Mental Illness, and Dementia: Crisis Intervention at the Crossroads.
This session will address the unique legal and behavioral aspects of working with dementia and how it both differs from mental illness and may overlap. Along with an overview of guardianship, commitment, and the roles of each, the session will offer strategies for managing challenging behavioral expressions and advocating for underserved clients with cognitive impairments or other barriers to inclusive care.
