COVID-19 Updates from CAMHI

March 17, 2020

The safety and health of all community members are of the utmost importance to us. At this time, we feel it is important that we all do our part to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19. It is for this reason, we have some announcements from CAMHI and our area providers:

• Trainings:

o All CAMHI sponsored trainings have been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date. New flyers, emails, and events on the website will be created and sent out once they are rescheduled.

o Registered attendees will receive a cancellation notification soon if they have not already received the notice.

o The two Mental Health First Aid Trainings, originally scheduled for March 19th and 31st, have been rescheduled for July; however, these are subject to cancellation and/or rescheduling should the recommendation of social distancing still be in effect.

• Schedule CAMHI Meetings:

o Anti-Stigma: The March Anti-Stigma meeting (3/26/2020) has been cancelled. We are exploring options to have the meetings be held via phone and/or in a webinar format

o Advisory Committee: This meeting is scheduled for April 2, 2020 and we are exploring alternatives to meeting in person for this meeting. An announcement will be made once we know for sure which route we'll be taking.

• Imagine Network Events

o The remaining events for March and all events for April have been cancelled.

o Please visit them on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Imagine-Network-403427033526252/ for updates.

o CAMHI will post updates as they come as well.

We'll be posting safety and health information and updates on meetings in the coming days and weeks as we all continue to work through this unprecedented situation.
