Community Advocates Needed!

March 31, 2023

Community Advocates are a fundamental part of CAMHI. In recent years, we have struggled filling the positions and unfortunately, we’ve had some Advocates who have had to step down from their roles with us for various reasons and now only have 2 out of the 8 positions filled.

We could really use YOUR help in spreading the word for the need of Advocates.

If you or someone you know (co-worker, friend, family member etc.) knows someone who would be a good fit as an Advocate, please share this with them! The individual does NOT need to be actively participating in any particular program or have ties with any CAMHI funded services. We would want to make sure that the individual IS in a good place with their mental well-being and would be able to take on the responsibility of attending and participating in meetings.

Please see the attached flyer for eligibility and other details!
