Mental Health First Aid Trainings- Cancelled

June 17, 2020

Re: July 16th and July 30th scheduled for Mental Health First Aid Trainings

As Minnesota begins to relax the restrictions on gathering sizes from the current Coronavirus pandemic, there continues to be concerns regarding the risks of COVID-19 transmission at indoor events. We want to provide both accurate information and be mindful of your scheduling needs as we all navigate this ever-evolving health climate.

Unfortunately, based on the most recent data being provided, we have concluded that it is in the best interest for the health and well-being of attendees and staff that we postpone these classes until later in 2020. It is our hope that this additional time will allow us to better understand any transmission risks still present, and allow the venues to create effective safety policies and procedures to execute safe, successful events, so we can gather together again.

The Community Adult Mental Health Initiative and The Heart and Mind Connection look forward to making these educational opportunities available in the coming months and to bringing our communities together again.
